Help me end youth homelessness in New Hampshire!
300 kids in New Hampshire don't know where they're going to sleep tonight.
It's hard to believe, but the experts tell us that's how many unaccompanied youth under age 21 are trying to find shelter each night in our state.
I'm participating in the SleepOut to benefit Waypoint NH in order to show my support for the work they do to address youth homelessness. Waypoint provides services that help prevent kids from resorting to life on the street and for those that do, Waypoint provides a host of services to keep them safe and then either help them to return home or, if that's not possible, to successfully transition to independent life. The donation you make will help provide:
1. preventive services for families that don't have the resources to provide safe, stable and nurturing places for young people to live
2. in-home services for families with young people who have had difficulty in their current environment and are at risk for leaving for a life on the streets
3. outreach for youth experiencing homelessness
4. for young people without safe and stable housing: survival supplies, counseling, advice on education and employment, and transitional housing.
Thank you for your donation!
